Website Privacy Policy

Nili Psychological Services Inc. · Effective November 2, 2026

Scope

This policy describes privacy practices related to the public website operated by Nili Psychological Services Inc. It is separate from the practice’s Notice of Privacy Practices, which addresses protected health information handled in connection with clinical care.

Information you provide

This website does not include contact forms, intake forms, newsletter sign-ups, or other forms for submitting information. Its contact links open your own email, phone, or text-messaging app.

When you contact the practice by email, telephone, or text message, the practice may receive your contact details and the information you provide. This information is used to respond to inquiries, discuss services or potential collaborations, and manage related communications. Please do not include sensitive clinical details in initial email or text inquiries. These communications may not be fully secure.

Clinical onboarding and documentation take place through a separate client portal, not through this website.

Website hosting, analytics, and cookies

This website is hosted on Squarespace. Squarespace provides built-in website analytics to site owners and may process technical and usage information, such as IP address, browser or device details, and page requests, for site operation, security, and analytics. Squarespace may use cookies or similar technologies for these purposes.

This website does not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or other third-party tracking tools.

When you first visit, a cookie banner asks for your consent to non-essential cookies. Non-essential cookies are restricted until you accept them. Your browser settings may also allow you to limit or delete cookies; doing so can affect how the website works.

For information about Squarespace’s practices, see the Squarespace Privacy Policy and Squarespace Cookie Policy.

External links

This website links to outside services, including the SimplePractice client portal (drparissanili.clientsecure.me), the California Board of Psychology, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Those services have their own privacy practices, which you should review when you use them. Following an external link does not create a clinical relationship.

How information is handled

Information sent directly to the practice is used to answer your communication, facilitate scheduling or service inquiries, keep necessary business records, and meet applicable legal requirements. It may be processed by service providers that support these functions or disclosed as legally required, subject to applicable confidentiality and privacy obligations. No ordinary internet transmission is guaranteed to be secure.

Retention and privacy requests

Information is retained as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was received, contractual and professional responsibilities, and applicable recordkeeping requirements. Your rights to access, correct, or otherwise address personal information depend on the information and applicable law. Contact the practice to make a request or ask a question. For information related to psychotherapy services, please see the Notice of Privacy Practices.

We may update this policy when our website or relevant practices change. The current version and its effective date will appear here.
